Lisa Kurtz Keylon, Esq. has practiced law in Arizona since 1992. She is the founder and solo practitioner at Ahead Of The Curve Law®. Her firm focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, with a specialty niche in firearms estate planning. She has a client centered practice, committed to fostering more peaceful and smooth transitions through thorough planning, outstanding legal documents, and clear communication with family members and advisors. She addresses personal, charitable and business planning. Lisa's prior decade serving as a trial lawyer in a personal injury firm involved a deep understanding of the litigation process. That experience prepared her for contested probate and trust administration. Her holistic approach anticipates conflict and focuses on how to prepare documents to prevent conflict where possible.
Lisa works with the client’s team of advisors and helps to fill gaps where appropriate. The goal is to create fluidity and prevent a more comprehensive plan. Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications from Northwestern University and her Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University College of Law. She was a Maricopa County prosecutor and a personal injury trial attorney prior to entering the field of estate related law.
Lisa currently is a member of Wealth Counsel, the Arizona State Bar and Maricopa County Bar Associations. She has served in numerous leadership professional organizations and in a variety of non profit organizations, including as Past President of The Junior League of Phoenix, Incorporated, an elder with the Presbyterian Church USA and the Boy Scouts of America.
